Success

Success and wealth are so weird.

I came across this quote from Sam Altman's Blog:

"Successful people create companies. More successful people create countries.
The most successful people create religions."

I've kinda always known this. Some of the best founders in the world didn't set out to create a company, Instead they have a mission. Some sort of calling where they believe the best way to accomplish their mission is to start a company.

These founders didn't A/B test their way to success, they just brought it into existence. Think Jobs, Musk, Bezos, Gates.

Bezos said it before, but you have the missionary and mercenary, and the missionary tends to be the one who makes more money.

But do each of us have a mission? Not sure, that's what I'm figuring out.
